Recently, Margaret Dunn, portfolio director at WorldGaming, interviewed Sergey Kastukevich, chief technology officer at SOFTSWISS, in a primer of both Tech Race and ICE Hall 7. The pair also shared their perspective on the development of AI in the industry.

Some factions within the government, especially the Ministry of Finance, are resisting more drastic measures. Finance Minister Dario Durigan’s difficulty lies in convincing Lula that a well-regulated activity is important for public finances. The president’s critical view of betting is on par with other candidates. Studies by the Workers’ Party (PT) indicate that three out of four Brazilians are against betting establishments. This is the president’s justification against the sector.

The upcoming indie biopic, titled The Chop, is being written and produced by filmmaker, writer, and stand-up comedian Mike Young through Red Leaf Entertainment. Production is targeted for 2027, though no director, cast, or financing details have been announced.
